NBCU Olympics Online Video FAQ's
Question: I am interested in accessing NBC Universal's coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. How do I know if I am eligible?
Answer: To be eligible to access the online Vancouver Olympic Games coverage, you must be an Eagle Cable subscriber in one of the following cities:
- Abilene
- Chapman
- Clay Center
- Ellis
- Ellsworth
- Goodland
- Hays
- Kanopolis
- Minneapolis
- Oberlin
- Russell
- Solomon
- St. Francis
- WaKeeney
- Wakefield
In addition to the city, you must also subscribe to a cable package that includes the channels CNBC AND MSNBC.
Question: How do I access the online content available?
Answer: You will need to go to http://www.nbcolympics.com and successfully complete your registration. You will then have access to NBC Universal's Olympics Online Connect.
Question: Do I have to subscribe to Eagle High-Speed Internet in order to view the online content?
Answer: No, you do not have to subscribe to Eagle High-Speed Internet. However, it is recommended that you have a broadband connection with sufficient speed to support streaming videos. Eagle Communications offers internet speeds up to 10Mb download in some areas.
Question: What information do I need to have ready when I go to the video website?
Answer: In order to log in to see the videos, you will need:
- Your 6-digit account number, listed on your billing statement
- The last 4 digits of the phone number you listed with Eagle for your account
- Your ZIP code
Question: What if I do not have a phone number for my account?
Answer: You may call Eagle Communications at 877-61-EAGLE (877-613-2453) to have an Eagle representative assign a phone number to your account.
