Digital/Operations/Sales Intern - Manhattan, KS

This is a unique internship that will allow the right person to learn digital sales, especially Google based, Event Marketing, and Radio Operations. This is a paid internship with potential to grow into a full time position in a 100% Employee Owned Company! The internship will start mid-May/early June and be located in Manhattan, KS.

Experience: Excellent communications skills – verbally and written with ability to present to potential clients in addition to exceptional phone skills. Experience in successfully multi-tasking while meeting deadlines. Ability to utilize strong listening skills to create solutions to help clients. Proficient with MS Office and Internet. Proven self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Professional appearance and able to meet company dress code per handbook. The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.

Requirements: One-on-one meetings with General Manager weekly to talk about progress and opportunities. Work maximum of 20 hours per week including occasional evening and weekend events. Meet daily reporting requirements – either via paper or online system. Research industries and companies for better knowledge when dealing with clients. Self-driven with need to learn and ability to continue to grow knowledge. Willingness to learn multiple areas of Eagle Communications. Willingness to think outside of the box and come up creative solutions to issues and/or problems. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

Salary: This is a paid internship with the potential to be hired full-time.
